Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Our plants are guaranteed for a period of 10 days after arrival.

(This policy does NOT apply to plants obtained through Plant Rescue Boxes.)


We do not compensate for damage that is considered normal or or reasonable during transit such as (but not limited to.):

  • Damaged leaves.

  • A small amount of loss in foliage.

  • Minor amounts of root rot.

The plant(s) must remain uncut, or further have their root system disturbed for at least 10 days after accepted delivery. Failure to adhere to this will render the guarantee null and void.

If for some reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with photos of the plant.

The buyer must return the plant with original packaging within the 10 day period to qualify for a full refund. If it is found that any cuttings have been taken from the plant after we receive it back, this will render the policy null and void, and no refund will be issued. If plants are sent back outside of the 10 day period without prior approval or communication, this will render the policy null and void. 


Delivery Time

CheyDPlantLady is generally unable to guarantee a specific delivery time. The precise time of delivery varies and depends on the schedule of our third-party courier (USPS). In some cases, however, we are able to guarantee morning or afternoon delivery. If this is the case, you will be notified during the purchase process.

Incorrect Delivery Information

If you have given us incorrect delivery information, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery. You will be given the opportunity to adjust the information up to two business days before the shipping date. If USPS report that the delivery address is incorrect, we will attempt to contact you and acquire new information, you will have to pay additional $10 for change of address. We will not be liable, however, if we are unable to make a delivery due to incorrect delivery information, and we will not be able to issue a refund.

Refused Deliveries

If a recipient refuses delivery, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Products and images

Products only contain the items listed in the product description.

Vases and other items are not included unless stated in the product description and are only used for display purposes.

Product photos are a representation of the arrangements and may vary (see Substitution Policy below).

Pest Report

In cases where pests are found in the plant, we do offer 25% Refund for live pests found on plants at time of arrival. Photos must be clear and well lit to accurately show pests.

Order Changes

To change your order, please contact through Changes can only be made two business days or less after purchase.


Cancellations for a full refund are allowed within 24 hours.


Duplicate Orders

If you placed two or more identical orders and you let us know about it, you will receive a full refund for the duplicated order.


Substitution Policy

In the event that you are sent the incorrect item, no need to send it back, consider it a gift! The correct item will be sent at no additional shipping charge to the buyer. Photographic evidence is required to be qualify for such replacement.


No Refund Cases

Refunds are NOT issued for:

Delays and/or destruction by mail courier

Death or damage of the plant caused by the buyer

Death or damage caused by mishandling by the mail courier

Cosmetic imperfections caused by transit.

Weather related damage, such as failure to add a heatpack when your local weather is under 50F. 

Failure to acclimate the plant to your environment adequately, resulting in the death or poor health of your purchase.
