Lighting

Adequate light is an important part of a plant’s health, whether it needs direct light, low light, or something in between. Light provides energy for plants to photosynthesize and grow to their full potential. When I first began researching grow lights, I recall being overwhelmed with just how many choices were available.

For all of my grow setups, I primarily use these grow lights by Feit Electric, which are linkable, making cable management much easier! I also use these single row full spectrum fixtures, which are available in 1ft, 2ft, and 4ft fixtures. These are also linkable, however the linking cable is much shorter, giving you less room to work with. The adjustable model has switches for red, blue, and white lights, allowing you to turn on precisely what you want, for what you need. This brand is my personal favorite so far, as they last quite a while, and really just do a fantastic job.
